Insulated Door Process
The typical U Value of a 57mm door is under 1.6W/m2K, with the panels achieving an excellent typical U Value of
between 0.8 - 1.2 W/m2K. All manufactured for superior performance against the elements and to save money
in the long run, whilst complying with the current Building regulations in force.
We provide outstanding performance without compromising on style. We use LBH styrofoam within the panel construction,
and as a socially responsible company the solid timbers we use are procured from sustainable sources.
The cavities in our double glazed windows are argon gas filled and we use a swiss V glass spacer to further improve the
whole window u value, which in turn substantially reduces the condensation associated with cold spots around the
perimeter of the window pane in the colder weather. The glass is soft coated to increase insulation from within
your property and reduce solar high heat gain in the summer months, keeping temperatures more stable.
The integrity of the door to panel seal is enhanced by a polysulphide sealant which prevents water ingress.
All our exterior insulated joinery now complies to CE marking.
